I have more than 15 years of experience as a journalist, editor and creative, working for both mainstream media, creative agencies and multinational brands.

I am writer, strategist, producer, photographer and director, with a sharp eye for cultural currents and deep roots in counter- and subculture.

Through the years, I have worked as an editor-in-chief on major publications, delivered expert analysis as a news correspondent, helped brands find their unique voices, directed successful editorial and creative projects, and worked as a go-to expert source for a host of national and multinational media outlets.

I also work as a photographer, and I publish a weekly newsletter, FEIN, with updates on German culture and lifestyle.

I live in Munich, Germany with me wife Beatrice and our three children.
